A SURFERS PARADISE

IF YOU LIVE ON THE EAST COAST OF OZ YOU HAVE BEEN BARRELLED OFF YOUR HEAD FOR THE PAST WEEK
ITS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF PUMPING, THESE GRABS ARE FROM SATURDAY, MYSELF AND LUKE BICKLEY HEADED UP THE COAST IN THE HOPES OF SCORING A FEW WAVES FROM THE WEEKEND CROWDS AT SOUTH STRADDIE…ON THE WAY I TEND TO DRIVE PAST THE FAMOUS “SURFERS PARADISE” JUST TO GET AN INDICATION OF SWELL AND WINDS BEFORE I MAKE MY WAY OVER TO STRADDIE
BUT ON THIS DAY THERE WAS NO NEED TO GO ANY FURTHER, ROMPING 4-6 FOOT PITS, WITH NOT ANOTHER PERSON IN THE WATER, AFTER A FEW HOURS IN THE WATER 2 SURFERS PADDLED OUT AND SAT RIGHT ON OUR PEAK? CONFUSED, WELL SO WAS I… EVEN MORE SO WHEN ONE OF THE GUYS BURNT ME!? (PICTURED BELOW) MILES OF EMPTY BARRELS AND YOU STILL MANAGE TO GET BURNT (WELL IT IS THE GOLD COAST)
BUT AFTER THIS SESSION ME AND LUKE COULDN’T BELIEVE WHAT WE STUMBLED ON, EMPTY PERFECTION IN THE HEART OF THE GOLD COAST WITH NO ONE AROUND

THE REALITY OFF THE GOLD COAST, NO MATTER HOW UNCROWDED IT IS YOU WILL STILL MANAGE AT LEAST ONE BURNING (THE GUY NEVER MADE IT OUT OF THE LIP, THEN COPED A FEW SETS ON THE HEAD AND WENT STRAIGHT IN)

Havnt we seen that first frame grab on facebook already ? 4 to 6 foot none of these waves are 6 foot and your the blow in coming up this end of the coast so expect other people to surf on the peak you were surfing as its not yours.

Rowan, mate just reading all this now…hahah nah mate i know that kinda dribble wouldn’t come from you. (real rowan)
As for the guy claiming to be Rowan,like yourself used the word “blow in”…that was until i opened my eyes and realised there is a great big world out there, not just the little bubble you live in…do yourself a favour, travel, get out of the gold coast
although just remember every time you travel, you yourself are a “blow in”
As for it being my peak…well im not sure about you, but if i rocked up at a beach and seen mile of empty perfection, i wouldn’t paddle out and sit on the only guy in the water…i mean honestly, your right i don’t own it, but it just comes down to common sense.
Until I found this I tohguht I’d have to spend the day inside.
